This report has been prepared following the contracting and initial visit to the Republic of Macedonia of Robert Dredge, the consultant appointed to the position of Advisor to the Policy Analysis Unit (PAU) of the Ministry of Health (MoH) .The purpose of the advisory services is to assist the newly established PAU to improve the policy and decision making of the MoH. The PAU members will monitor all relevant health indicators and assess the impact of policies and reforms as they are implemented. They will also give an overview of the financial health of the system.
