The primary aim of the Integrated Health Information Strategy is to recommend the necessaryactions to rectify present deficiencies in health information systems and to put in place the frameworks to ensure the optimal development and utilisation of health information.
The key to successful implementation of ICT is a strong and universally accepted strategy. A mid and long term ICT strategy is necessary to achieve such goal.
